This was a video pitch to fundraise for religious community center in Australia. It would have been a simple task to write a script that just discussed features and benefits. The problem with this approach is that the “features-benefits-trial close” technique came from the 1950’s as a way for sellers to control customers. This is no longer effective in the current market; buyers are too savvy. So I wrote the script in a way to give prospects more control in the process so that they don’t feel pressured and back away.
